Simple terms.
Responsible use.
By using PaperShift, you agree to these terms. They are a starter template and must be reviewed before the service is used commercially.
1. What the service does
PaperShift is a document conversion utility that attempts to reconstruct PDF content in an editable Microsoft Word DOCX file. It is provided on an “as available” basis. Conversion results depend on the structure, quality, and complexity of the source PDF.
2. No guarantee of exact fidelity
The service does not guarantee that every character, font, line break, margin, image, table, or page position will match the original PDF. Users must inspect the output before editing, publishing, printing, submitting, or delivering it to another person. For high-stakes documents, use a qualified manual review process.
3. Your files and permissions
You retain your rights to files you upload. You confirm that you own the files or have the legal authority to process them. Do not upload copyrighted, confidential, or personal documents in a way that violates law, contract, or another person's rights.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use the service to infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, disrupt the service, bypass configured limits, probe systems without permission, or submit unlawful content. Automated high-volume use may be restricted by the operator.
5. Availability and limits
The operator may change file-size limits, page limits, features, or availability to protect service reliability. The current default limit is 25 MB and 100 pages per PDF. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or due to infrastructure failures.
6. Intellectual property
The PaperShift name, interface, and application code are separate from the documents users upload. Do not imply endorsement by Microsoft or any PDF software vendor. “Word” and “Microsoft Word” are trademarks of their respective owner.
7. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free conversion. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on conversion output. Users remain responsible for keeping source copies, reviewing results, and ensuring the final document meets their requirements. This section must be adapted to applicable law before commercial use.
9. Changes and termination
The operator may update the service or these terms. Continued use after a revised version takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Access may be suspended for abuse or security reasons.
10. Contact
Questions can be directed through epsingh.in. The production operator should publish a legal business identity and a reliable contact address.
